Society of Illustrators, Fantasy Flight Games, Etc

I'm not actually sure there is an et cetera, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

So, first and foremost, I was excited to learn yesterday that two of my illustrations won in the Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship Competition. I actually have no idea if or what kind of scholarship that entails, but hey, I get to be in their show! That's pretty much as exciting as anything, since most all of my favorite artists are in "The Society" (it sounds shady that way).

Also, just as a quick update on work, I'm currently illustrating for the next installment of Fantasy Flight Games' Song of Ice and Fire card game, which is always very exciting.

Finally, if only to provide you with the most up to date information possible, I'm currently in a bathrobe, laying on my bed and talking to my wife. At one point, because I am a junior scientist, I spoke to her while typing to see if it was possible.
