King Foril, from Brian Cortijo's fantastic article on the history of Cormyrean Royalty, aptly titled "Cormyr Royale." Featured in Dungeon Magazine issue 198. [link]

The actual painting of the image took place during finals at school, and many many grateful thanks go out to Skydancer Stock

for his gigantic page of stock images. Every once in a while I'll be faced with some sort of scheduling rigmarole where I need to start a painting at 11pm and calling models (or my wife, of course) isn't going to fly. He himself was the model for King Foril, and I can't imagine finding someone better.

Thanks, that harmony is always a primary goal while working. I'm not a very aggressive guy in general, and as such I tend to be really careful about where I put hard edges
